Terms & Conditions — Business Story Coach

1. Services Offered

Business Story Coach provides facilitation services designed to help clients plan, structure, and create their own content. Services include:

• On-site content creation facilitation sessions.
• Remote sessions via video conferencing (e.g., Zoom or similar platforms).
• Guidance, structure, and knowledge to support clients in producing their own content.

We do not provide agency or production services, and we do not claim any rights over the content created by clients during or after these sessions.

2. Bookings & Payments

1. All bookings must be made in advance via our official booking system or by direct agreement with us.
2. Payment terms will be communicated at the time of booking. A deposit or full payment may be required to secure the session.
3. Cancellations:
   • Up to 48 hours before the session — Full refund or credit.
   • Less than 48 hours before the session — Up to 50% of the booking fee may be charged.
   • No-shows — Full session fee is charged.

3. Session Usage

1. Clients are responsible for bringing or using their own content creation equipment, unless otherwise agreed.
2. For on-site sessions, the Client must respect the space, equipment, and any facilities provided.
3. Remote sessions require a stable internet connection and suitable technical setup on the Client’s side. We are not responsible for disruptions caused by the Client’s equipment or connection issues.

4. Liability & Indemnification

1. No responsibility for content: Business Story Coach assumes no liability for the content created, shared, published, or distributed during or after the sessions.
2. The Client is solely responsible for obtaining any rights, permissions, or licenses related to the content they produce.
3. The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Business Story Coach, its owners, and staff from any claims, damages, or expenses resulting from:
   • Content created or published by the Client.
   • Technical or legal issues arising from the Client’s production or distribution of content.
   • Misuse of any equipment or breach of these Terms.

5. Intellectual Property

1. All intellectual property rights in content created during sessions remain with the Client, provided all fees have been paid in full.
2. Business Story Coach does not claim ownership of any materials produced by the Client.
3. With the Client’s written consent, we may refer to sessions or testimonials for promotional purposes.

6. Confidentiality

We respect the confidentiality of all sessions and will not share any content, ideas, or related information with third parties without the Client’s consent, unless required by law.

7. Technical Limitations & Interruptions

1. We make every effort to provide smooth and professional facilitation, whether on-site or remote.
2. In the event of technical failure, power outage, or other disruptions on our end, our liability is limited to rescheduling the session or providing a partial refund.
3. We are not responsible for indirect losses, missed deadlines, or consequential damages.

8. Behavior & Conduct

1. Clients and participants must behave respectfully toward the facilitator and any other attendees.
2. We reserve the right to terminate a session without refund if:
   • Abusive, threatening, or unsafe behavior occurs, or
   • Illegal activities are observed or suspected.

9. Insurance

Clients are responsible for their own insurance coverage, including liability and equipment insurance (if applicable).

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Business Story Coach shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages,
• Loss of data or content,
• Delays or issues caused by factors beyond our reasonable control.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively by the competent courts in Faro, Portugal.

12. Changes to Terms

Business Story Coach reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
